While he was attending war college at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, Jonathan and his future wife met and fell in love. After a 15-year absence, their family returned to the KC area where Jonathan established the Overland Park location for Graber & Johnson Law Group, LLC. Jonathan focuses his practice area on estate planning, planning for blended families, high net worth estate planning, elder law, veterans’ pension benefits and Medicaid asset protection planning.

As a peripatetic military child and as a retired Navy Commander, Jonathan brings a world of practical experience to the legal profession. Prior to joining the Navy to become a pilot, Jonathan earned his aerospace engineering degree from Mississippi State University. After earning his Navy wings of gold, Jonathan flew military helicopters at sea, taught flight instruction to military students, and served a tour of duty in Iraq.

During his 22 years in the Navy, Jonathan earned an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Master of Human Resources Management from Webster University. After retiring from the Navy, Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor at the Regent University School of Law.

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys traveling with his family, training for races, and listening to audio books.

Jonathan is licensed to practice in Kansas and Virginia.
