Gabe is a native Kansan, having grown up in Northwestern and North Central Kansas. After high school, he attended Tabor College, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Biblical & Religious Studies.

Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he earned his JD from the University of Kansas School of Law. During law school he worked as a legal intern at KU’s Legal Services for Students. In 2011 he joined Steve Graber’s law practice in Manhattan, where he has focused on business and succession planning. Gabe and his wife reside in Manhattan, and he regularly travels to the McPherson and Norton areas to meet with clients.

In his free time, Gabe enjoys reading, finding new music, debating the finer points of pop culture, and keeping up on the latest technology trends. He enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking, golfing, hunting with his German Shorthair Pointer, and snowboarding.

Gabe is a former board member of the Manhattan Area Habitat for Humanity, where he served from 2015 to 2021, and as Vice President from 2018-2020.

He is the 2022 award winner of the WealthCounsel Award for Vision, recognizing a member who has provided significant and valuable insight and recommendations to enhance and expand WealthCounsel's estate planning document solutions.

Gabe is licensed to practice in Kansas and North Dakota.
